CGG Data Hub is seeking innovative graduate data scientists with a passion for programming, technology, and enthusiasm for analytical and problem-solving challenges. Our data scientists play a key role in the ongoing development of our digital transformation strategy and geoscience analytics.
You will develop and implement technologies and efficient workflows to manipulate the outputs from a machine learning-driven document classification pipeline. This will include using these outputs to identify, extract, transform, and load data into the database. You will also have opportunities to assist in backend development and build visualizations. You will be collaborating with geological subject matter experts, data engineers, and machine learning engineers.
The perfect candidate will exhibit a keen attitude towards learning and the flexibility to adapt to new challenges or changes in direction.

We provide cutting-edge technology solutions and services to tackle our clients’ data transformation and analytics challenges across various industries, including geothermal, environmental, hydrocarbon, and mineral exploration. You will be working in an open, collaborative environment with opportunities to learn, grow, and develop. We maintain an informal team culture and believe that work should be fun and rewarding.
Location
This role can be filled in either Crawley, a town near London Gatwick Airport and just outside the M25, with excellent transport links to Central London and South Coast, or Llandudno, a stunning seaside town in North Wales, with good rail connections to Manchester and Liverpool.

Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in a scientific field. You should have experience dealing with data and familiarity with data processes, software, and databases.
