About the Role
This key role in the Data Enablement / Operations Technology Program Management organization focuses on blending Industry 4.0 strategies, Smart Manufacturing technologies, and digital solutions to modernize our factory operations.
The successful candidate will use advanced technologies, tools, and analytics to enhance operational awareness and drive transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
As an Industry 4.0 Data Analytics Project Manager, you will:
- Continually update your skills and industry knowledge, earning recognition as a subject matter expert.
- Develop and leverage working relationships, managing senior relationships across all business and functional areas.
- Establish new technology concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for research, development, integration, and testing.
- Generate insights and draw data-driven conclusions to help prioritize and focus areas.
- Leverage data to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to achieve operational goals.
- Direct all program phases from inception through completion.
- Gather requirements and specifications to create a well-defined project scope.
- Set project priorities in alignment with departmental strategies.
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance of programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Present weekly and monthly metrics in actionable data stories.
- Mentor and coach emerging peers.
- Travel up to 10% for project-related tasks to other Avionics sites.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including index match, v-lookups, pivot tables, sum if & count if, and concatenate functions.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Background in manufacturing support in a high-mix factory.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive consensus and change across a complex matrixed organization.
- Problem-solving skills to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals.
