We are currently searching for a Computer Vision Machine Learning Autonomous Driving intern. This position necessitates an enthusiastic student with a fundamental understanding of data pipelining and a passion for working with EVs. Our ideal candidate displays a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Engage in cross-collaboration with the ADAS data team to integrate ADAS data
- Assist with capturing and debugging issues whilst capturing sensor data
- Contribute to the construction of Machine Learning Pipelines for ADAS Data
- Develop and Improve Computer Vision Models for ADAS projects like auto-labeling, synthetic data generation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Python and C++ programming
- Understanding of data pipelines
- Experience using AWS or other similar cloud technologies like EKS, ELB
- Understanding of Bash or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of Machine learning pipelining and its architecture
- Field(s) of study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with exposure to ADAS or related fields
- Consideration given to undergraduates Junior level or above Pursuing Bachelor’s or master's degree
- Evidence of enrollment in current or next academic program (MS, PhD)
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Computer vision research and pipelines
- Experience with multiple languages and cloud technologies
Program Details:
- Timing: May-August, or June-September depending on class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program lasts 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Newark, CA, and is entirely in-person. The working environment will be a blend of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level and is non-negotiable.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S. work authorization.
- Relocation: One round-trip flight to the assigned work location from/to permanent residence.
- Housing/Transportation: You must arrange your own accommodation and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are dependent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All job offers are contingent on passing a drug screening.
- Medical benefits: Dental and vision are available from the first day for all interns working 32+ hours a week; medical is also provided for interns in California working 32+ hours a week.
The hourly pay range for internships, specific to the location is $28/hr-$68/hr, and represents the range that Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position, taking into account degree level and job-specific domain. Additional compensation may be available, as well as access to our medical, dental, and vision programs.
