Devsinc is actively seeking a talented Junior Data Scientist with 6 months to 1.5 years of experience, particularly in machine learning (ML). What You Will Do

As a Junior Data Scientist at Devsinc, you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models to solve specific business problems, handling all steps from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model training and validation.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns, correlations, and insights in both structured and unstructured data, using these findings to refine ML models and methods.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to define data needs and devise ML-driven business solutions.
• Create effective visualizations to demonstrate the results of ML models and analyses.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations that convert intricate ML concepts and outcomes into understandable insights that drive business actions.
• Continuously seek out learning opportunities in cutting-edge ML techniques and integrate the latest research and tools to enhance project outcomes.
• Develop and test prototypes for predictive models and other ML applications to evaluate their real-world performance.
• Utilize your insights, datasets, code, and models across various company functions, influencing areas like HR and marketing.
• Maintain effective communication, both verbally and in writing, to translate data requirements and results accurately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field with substantial ML-focused studies.
• At least 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in data science or machine learning, demonstrated through a portfolio of project work in ML model development, data analysis, and feature engineering.
• Strong proficiency in ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and programming expertise in Python.
• Experience with SQL and knowledge of data visualization tools like Seaborn or ggplot2.
• Exceptional skill in analyzing complex datasets to develop effective ML models.
• A proven track record of communicating complex ML concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• An ability to work collaboratively, adapt to new environments, and be receptive to feedback.
