About LCCI BI&A Team

The Lilly Capability Center India (LCCI) established its Business Insights & Analytics (BI&A) team in 2017 to support critical business decisions for global functions. This team is a part of LCCI’s Commercial Services organization and closely collaborates with the business analytics team at our Indianapolis headquarters. Currently, our team consists of over 190 staff members with varied expertise in data management, analytics, and operational insights.

Role Overview: Medical Affairs Data Reporting & Visualization Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic techno-functional leader to enhance our Medical Affairs team. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development of high-quality data reporting and visualization tools to drive improved customer experiences and business outcomes. This role involves championing our self-service reporting strategy and automation initiatives to create scalable reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery Lead
  • Lead project management to ensure seamless execution, prioritization, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of Medical Affairs strategy to align measurement workstreams with organizational goals.
  • Present final project outcomes and provide recommendations for omnichannel engagement and patient analytics.
  • Ensure process improvements and implement analytical best practices throughout the analytics value chain.
Project Execution
  • Specialize in data reporting and visualization, supporting decision-making with comprehensive data analysis.
  • Execute and monitor operational tasks to ensure timely data availability in reporting structures.
  • Perform thorough data validations and respond to stakeholder queries promptly.
  • Ensure high-quality, insightful reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop and publish dashboards, content creation journeys, and patient outcomes regularly.
Project Management and Leadership
  • Maintain best project management practices, SOPs, and quality checklists for excellent delivery.
  • Coach team members and contribute to a community of expert practitioners.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and contractual obligations in data usage.

Education Requirements

Preferred degrees include Finance, Econometrics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Sciences. Experience in the pharma/healthcare industry is highly desirable.

Experience and Technical Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in data management, pharma market intelligence, and performance reporting/visualization.
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of pharma databases like Activity Data and patient data (IQVIA).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience with coding languages such as SQL, R, or Python.

  • Exceptional business analytics and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international matrix environment.
