Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

Job Description

Unison Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a proficient Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RDBMS, data ingestion processes, data flows, and data integration techniques. You will bring technical expertise in data models, data mining, and segmentation strategies, along with extensive experience in the full SDLC lifecycle using Lean or Agile development methodologies.

• Communicate complex technology solutions effectively across diverse teams, including technical, business, and management groups.
• Work collaboratively in a multifaceted stakeholder environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead with strong character in team leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
• Significant hands-on professional experience, particularly in coding and handling production support issues.
• Strong background in data warehousing using RDBMS and Non-RDBMS databases.
• Experience working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-facing environment.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Knowledge of data streaming and scalable data processing is preferable.
• Proficiency with large-scale datasets, data lake, and data warehouse technologies such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake (Snowflake is highly preferred).
• Considerable experience with ETL tools like AWS Glue, and services such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Lambda, Apache Airflow, and Amazon Step Functions.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, UNIX shell, and Spark.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD and GIT deployments.
