Latitude is on the lookout for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to take the helm of our IT infrastructure. This pivotal role is perfect for seasoned professionals such as Sr. Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, or IT Managers with a rich background in analytics, warehousing, and strategic IT leadership.

Position Overview

As a Lead Data Engineer at Latitude, you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional projects that leverage advanced data modeling and analytical techniques. Your insights will drive strategic decisions and highlight opportunities for optimization. This role requires your physical presence at our office just two days a month, with the flexibility to schedule these days according to your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain robust data models, automation systems, and dashboards to support vital business decisions.
• Design and implement technical processes to solve business issues, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
• Provide strategic leadership in the formulation and execution of Latitude’s IT strategy, aligning it with broader business goals.
• Engage hands-on in various technical projects, offering guidance and expertise to the IT team while managing resources to meet project and operational demands.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in IT leadership positions, with a strong track record in project and team management.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, notably Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Profound knowledge of cloud database management, data warehousing, analytics, and proficiency in tools like Tableau and Power BI.
