Key Responsibilities

Lecturer

Lecturer candidates should have a strong research trajectory in Information Systems and Operations, with potential to generate research income and develop an international reputation. Responsibilities include:

  • Research and teaching on digital transformation, e-commerce, and the impact of emerging technologies.
  • Developing and delivering high-quality teaching and student support.
  • Securing external research funding and contributing to the research profile of the Business School.

Senior Lecturer

Senior Lecturer candidates should have an established international reputation, evidence of leadership, and a proven track record in teaching and research. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing academic leadership and supervising PGR students.
  • Designing and delivering successful new courses.
  • Sustaining a high-quality research profile and securing research funding.

Qualifications & Skills

We seek candidates who meet our essential criteria outlined in the job description and person specification:

Lecturer Grade F

  • Good Honours degree in a relevant subject.
  • PhD (or equivalent) in progress or near completion.

Lecturer Grade G

  • Completed PhD in a relevant subject.
  • Evidence of substantive experience and research accomplishments.

Senior Lecturer Grade H

  • Substantial experience and established research profile.
  • HE teaching qualification (or equivalent experience).
