About the Role

As a Machine Learning and Software Engineering Content Development Intern, you will collaborate with our Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering Curriculum teams to enhance our comprehensive content library. Focus areas include Python, SQL, data, and software engineering courses, where you will act as a reviewer, thought partner, and advocate for our learners.

This position is mainly centered around content development rather than engineering tasks.

This full-time, paid internship provides an invaluable developmental experience where learning by doing is at the forefront. If you’re keen on software engineering, data science/engineering, machine learning, or online education, and want to explore teaching these subjects, this is the ideal role for you. Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and expand our library of courses, projects, and practice pools related to Python, software engineering, data engineering, and machine learning engineering.
  • Ensure the content of live courses remains current and meets the highest quality standards.
  • Develop automated tests in Python to deliver personalized feedback for learners.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in Python, with proficient SQL skills.
  • Experience with production-level code and hands-on knowledge of testing in Python.
  • Strong interest in software engineering best practices and desire to teach.
  • Experience in actual teaching or mentoring highly desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
