Machine Learning Engineer

In partnership with our technology partner, we're seeking a ML Engineer who will assist us in creating bespoke ML-based solutions, with a focus on NLP and text processing, that can handle terabytes of data. You'll work with state-of-the-art architectures and techniques, and deploy your models in a highly parallel Big Data environment. You'll be tasked with making domain-specific, data-oriented decisions, grounded in a comprehensive and complete global view. Responsibilities: - Create innovative algorithms and methods for extracting and analyzing large and complex data sets - Compile and construct relevant training datasets to develop and refine models - Train and assess your model in a large-scale parallel environment - Take full ownership of your ML models, from data collection for training to deployment and monitoring in production - Optimize your ML solutions for the production environment - Enhance NER extraction and text classification algorithms - Conduct statistical analyses of the real-world performance of your models - Prototype rapidly to solve complex use cases, without getting bogged down in theory, as we like to ship frequently - Write well-designed, testable, efficient code Salary: B2B: 150-175 PLN/hour Requirements: - Prior experience improving datasets through heuristics, training and optimal model deployment - Proficiency in Python, as well as MySQL or any other relational database - Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling and software architecture - Understanding of advanced mathematical and statistical concepts and techniques - Prior experience with an NLP framework (Transformers, Spacy) and ML framework (PyTorch, Sklearn, Tensorflow) would be a plus Benefits: Workplace Culture and Ethics: • Flexible attitude (including working hours) • International business trips • Social events and awaydays • Support for your ideas Personal Development: • External conferences • Technical and soft skills training • Opportunities to switch between projects/technologies • English classes • In-house library Health and Relaxation: • Employee Wellbeing Platform • Private health care • Multisport card • Sports events • Chill-out room • Fresh fruits and a juice machine Knowledge and Culture: • Open source initiatives • Codete Mentorship Program • Research and Development department The entity responsible for your personal data is Codete Global Sp. z o.o. based in Kraków (30-527), Poland, ul.
