About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer in our dynamic team, you will play a key role in developing our AI-powered platform. Your core responsibilities will include working on Data Platform activities, Recommending systems, and advanced NLP tasks like text classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and duplicate matching. This position is based in one of our vibrant offices located in Dresden, Berlin, Essen, Vienna, Sofia, Milano, or Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities:

• Autonomously develop data pipelines utilizing AWS, Spark, and MLOps to implement models in production environments.
• Enhance and refine our content using advanced NLP models for recommending, enriching, and deduplicating information.
• Implement cutting-edge models such as BERT for text classification and high-accuracy entity recognition with Stanford NER or spaCy.

What You'll Bring

• MLOps: Autonomous capability in building data pipelines for ML solutions.
• Recommending Systems: Proven experience in building recommendation engines using libraries like Surprise, LightFM, Implicit.
• NLP: Advanced knowledge in popular implementations for entity detection and classification, and familiarity with generative AI models.
• Image and Content: Experience with Computer Vision architectures and document understanding/parsing techniques.
