Machine Learning Operations Engineer - US Remote

About the role: As a Machine Learning Ops Engineer at our company, your primary task is to enrich the experience of our users through a multifaceted feature set, optimal availability, and superior performance. We're looking for a candidate who brings fresh ideas, showcases a distinctive viewpoint based on knowledge, and thrives in active collaboration within a flexible structure to craft real-world solutions and enhance user encounters at every interaction. This role involves: - Building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications. - Enhancing the reliability, quality, and speed of rollout of our suite of software solutions. - Measuring and optimizing system performance, always pushing our capabilities forward to meet customer needs and innovate for continuous improvement. - Providing primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications. - Managing the production environment by monitoring availability and assessing total system health. Day-to-day and monthly responsibilities include: - Gathering and analyzing metrics from both operating systems and applications for performance tuning and troubleshooting. - Participating in system design consulting, managing platforms, and planning capacity. - Building sustainable systems and services through automation. - Balancing the pace of feature development and reliability with clearly defined service level objectives. Our tech stack includes: - Terraform - Kubernetes - Cloud: AWS & GCP - Python and Rust - Various frameworks and libraries e.g., Transformers, Keras, or PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. About you: You would enjoy working with us if you're tech-savvy, have a deep understanding of the pros and cons of various languages and frameworks, frequently use Github, prioritize user experience, recognize the importance of inclusion and diversity, enjoy building things mostly from scratch, and thrive in a rapidly expanding international environment.
