Job Description

AECOM is looking for a Management Consulting Analyst/Data Analyst to join our Raleigh, NC office.

This position is set to start in May 2024.

The Management Consulting Analyst/Data Analyst role will aid in pushing the executive leadership agenda by setting strategic direction and driving crucial strategic initiatives for AECOM. This position will report to the Director and/or Vice President of ESG for US East and LATAM. This position requires the discernment to tackle and define complex projects, balance numerous responsibilities, and persuade key decision-makers.

The responsibilities of this position include, but aren't limited to:

  • Assist proactively in managing several clients while reporting to Senior Managers and above.
  • Train and lead staff.
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
  • Contribute to the development of your and your team’s technical skill set.
  • Keep up-to-date with local and national business and economic issues.
  • Participate actively in business development activities to spot and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
  • Keep developing internal relationships and your AECOM brand.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Architecture/Planning from a top-tier accredited program.
  • A valid Driver's License to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • The chosen candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant intern or work experience in accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, corporate strategy, and/or restructuring.
  • Strong business and client relationship network.
  • The ability to see the “big picture” with good business acumen.
  • Aptitude to originate and execute deals.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills and good interpersonal and client servicing skills.
  • A solution-oriented mindset and critical attention to detail.
  • Solid technical capabilities in financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of capital markets and regulatory environments (Securities Commission’s guidelines, Bursa Securities regulations, and Companies Act).
  • Good higher education qualifications (CPA, CA, CFA, or MBA).
