Manager - Data Quality (REMOTE) at Wesco International, Inc.

Join us as a Manager - Data Quality and lead a dynamic team to enhance data quality and governance at Wesco. You'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing key data quality initiatives that ensure our organization leverages data effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the vision for data within Wesco and the crucial role of Data Quality and Governance in achieving organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with Data Office teams to strategize a roadmap for Data Quality and Governance initiatives.
• Contribute to delivering robust Data Quality and Governance capabilities to the organization.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to design data quality tests that align with specific requirements and certify data as "fit for purpose."
• Oversee the production of elements within the Data Quality and Governance platform by the data quality team.
• Manage, evaluate, and develop staff while providing coaching and developmental opportunities.
• Oversee the technical architecture for the Data Quality and Governance platform, including tools like Informatica CDGC and CDQ.
• Guide the curation of data catalog, business glossary, and lineage assets to create an intuitive resource for data consumers.
• Work with Data Domain Owners to design and implement Data Governance initiatives within their domains.
• Manage the tactical roadmap for Data Quality and Governance while ensuring synchronization with other Data Office teams.
• Collaborate with Data Owners and Stewards to craft policies, principles, and procedures supporting governance roadmap goals.
• Promote participation and buy-in from business areas for data governance activities.
• Define Stories and prioritize the Team Backlog under guidance from the Scaled Product Owner.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in agile delivery frameworks, strategy or requirement development, or Product Owner roles.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance and data quality program management.
• 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in data governance and management standards, data quality management, and data stewardship practices.
• Significant experience in data governance and management preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
