Job Description
Razorfish is looking for a full-time Data Science and Analytics Manager. This role will be in charge of analytics and reporting, data strategy, and optimization recommendations to enable a data-driven performance marketing program.
Responsibilities:
- Directly collaborate with team leads to understand campaign structure, strategy, and market conditions that influence marketing performance
- Cooperate with account leads to succinctly communicate results and recommendations to clients, including recommendations for customer journey, media optimization opportunities, and overall testing hypotheses
- Support data colleagues and the larger account team in QA/validating data collection from various media reporting tools, such as the ad server, DSPs, platforms, etc., whilst delivering top-tier reporting
- Consider program performance across channels to:
- Produce insights about “why” and “what next”
- Suggest optimizations and/or testing for a full-funnel media strategy
- Manage end-to-end analyses and independently manage workflow of assigned tasks
- Participate in regular team meetings
Qualifications
- The candidate should have at least 3-5 years of work experience in a business setting, with at least 2 years of successful work within an intensely client-oriented model such as an external consulting or marketing services firm
- Must be a storyteller, able to interpret data and extract meaningful and actionable insights
- Should be intellectually curious with a desire to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust as priorities shift
- Familiar with:
- Paid media execution – search, social, display, video – and related performance metrics, e.g. cost per acquisition, bounce rate, click-through rate, reach
- Performance marketing or lead/demand gen media programs
- Financial services or personal finance vertical (or medical underwriting insurance)
- Experience using:
- Digital measurement/analytics tool(s): Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar
- Media measurement tool(s): Google Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, AdWords, Search Ads, Facebook for Business, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SQL, Python, R experience is a plus

Salary Range: $81,500 - $137,500. This is the pay range the company believes it will offer for this position at the time of this posting. In compliance with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
