Risk Technology Senior Associate

About the Role

Are you experienced in Asset Management and well-versed in products such as Equities, Municipals, Taxable Fixed Income, Real Assets, and OTC and ETD derivatives? Join our team as a Risk Technology Senior Associate. You must possess excellent partnership skills and be proficient in using Tableau for data quality checks and analysis for reporting to Risk Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with risk vendors to understand and resolve issues related to the calculation of risk metrics.
• Utilize data analysis and presentation skills to identify issues or gaps.
• Work closely with investment risk managers to gather requirements and design reporting solutions using Tableau.
• Partner with technology teams on enhancement requests and conduct User Acceptance Testing to receive release sign-offs.
• Develop automated, standardized reporting for investment risk groups, including high-visibility Board and Regulatory reporting.
• Ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly operational processes and data quality checks are completed timely.
• Support the team’s regulatory reporting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of relevant Asset Management experience with fixed income products, risk management, and/or risk technology.
• 3+ years of experience using Tableau or other BI reporting tools.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, MIS, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance, MIS, or a related field.
• Exposure to FactSet for risk reporting.
• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal.
• Exposure to MSCI Barra Factor Model or other factor models.
• Mix of technical skills and investment risk skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience with data analysis and business analysis.
• Knowledge and understanding of investment risk analytics.
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of derivatives.

Additional Information

We prefer candidates familiar with Asset Management and possess comprehensive product knowledge, including Equities, Municipals, Taxable Fixed Income, Real Assets, and OTC and ETD derivatives. Exceptional partnership skills and proficiency in using Tableau for data checks and analysis are imperative for reporting to Risk Managers.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $84,000/yr. - $124,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary depending on experience, role duration, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include participation in incentive programs linked to performance.
