Job Description

The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Mid-Level Cryogenic Integration Engineer to join our innovative team in Huntington Beach, CA. As a key member of the Space and Sensor Electronics Design (SSED), you will play a vital role in enhancing state-of-the-art System on Chip (SoC) and Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs for Quantum System Microelectronics (QSM) under the Disruptive Computing and Networking (DC&N) venture.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Analyze customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various products.
  • Stand up and test novel cryogenic systems.
  • Integrate components into a larger system for testing.
  • Validate designs through various methods of review, testing, and analysis.
  • Identify, track, and status technical performance measures to measure progress.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with cryogenic test systems.
  • Experience with lab electrical test and measurement/data collection systems.
  • Basic hardware/software troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience with COMSOL, HSPICE, Python, VNA operation, AWR Microwave Office.
  • Experience with low-noise measurements.
  • Experience in the design/development of integrated circuits.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, FPGAs, VHDL, and Quantum Information.

Typical Education/Experience

Advanced technical education and typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master + 3 years' related work experience). ABET accreditation is preferred.

Summary Pay Range: $104,550 – $141,450
