About the Role

As a member of our Modeling and Simulation team, you'll provide essential technical subject matter expertise to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation Directorate, supporting digital engineering projects. Collaborate with government engineers, contractors, and vendors to pioneer the development, implementation, and management of system models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of MDA systems modeling and simulation.
  • Contribute to system analysis, test support, data engineering, and data science application.
  • Engage in subsystem/component analysis, scene generation, and environmental modeling.
  • Develop tools for effectiveness analysis and technology readiness experimentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of full-time professional experience in DoD modeling and simulation, missile defense, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in mathematics, physics, or engineering.
  • Experience with AFSIM, Linux, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of MDS, BMDS, and related sensors, assets, large-scale programs, and architectures.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or neural networks is a plus.
