The Role: Modeling Solutions Engineer, Staff

Location:

Breckenridge, CO or Santa Clara, CA - Hybrid (3 Days in the Office)

What You Will Do:

As a key member of the Hardware Modeling team, you will integrate, deploy, and manage a transaction-accurate model of d-Matrix's IP. This model serves as a virtual platform, providing high-fidelity hardware simulation for our software teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Architecting small-scale cloud solutions for distributed high-performance model deployment
• Defining and implementing CI/CD flows to ensure model functionality and uptime
• Collaborating with internal customers to enhance model user interaction
• Improving test methodologies and developing internal tools and infrastructure

What You Will Bring:

If you are a DevOps engineer eager to dive into development or a developer passionate about infrastructure, this role is for you! Here's what we are looking for:

• BS in Computer Science (or a related field) and 5+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to architect, deploy, and maintain small-scale, high-performance cloud applications
• Experience in developing and supporting CI/CD flows
• Familiarity with common software testing paradigms and frameworks
• Expert coding skills in Python
• Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented focus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with startups, small teams, or incubation environments
• Azure or AWS Solutions Architect certification
• Proficiency with tools and frameworks such as GitLab, Jenkins, jinja2, PyTorch, pandas, C++, pytest, GoogleTest, cmake, MPI
• Experience with high-volume logging infrastructure
• Prior experience in internal customer-facing roles
