The Advanced Development Center in Wilton, Connecticut is eager to welcome an accomplished Optical Data Analyst to join our dedicated team. This role will be integral to the metrology process development of both ultra-high precision optics and ceramics.

About the Role: Optical Data Analyst

As an integral part of the Advanced Development Center, your primary responsibility will be to innovate and refine image processing and data analysis algorithms. Additionally, you will develop software utilizing machine learning to enhance wafer and reticle clamping systems. You'll tackle challenges at the nano-scale precision level and contribute to the larger Development and Engineering sector that takes the reins in designing and engineering ASML's leading-edge products.

  • Develop and enhance image processing algorithms to glean nanometer-level information from sophisticated imaging equipment.
  • Integrate developed algorithms into comprehensive image processing software packages used across engineering and manufacturing spectrums.
  • Ensure robust version control and conduct rigorous testing to optimize software functionality and accuracy.
  • Employ machine learning models to predict and enhance product lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with design teams and provide ongoing software analysis tool support.
  • Conduct data analysis, plot trends, and maintain database integrity to support engineering and manufacturing requirements.
  • Occasional travel to international locations and within the US.

What You Need for This Position

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physics, Optical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analytics and image processing (5+ years for Bachelor's degree holders).
  • Proficiency in software configuration management tools like Git, SVN, or GitHub.
  • Deep understanding of measurement techniques and imaging systems.
  • Expert knowledge of MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar software tools.
