Job Summary: Data Engineering Expertise Wanted

The role of People Analytics Data Engineer - Lead Consultant is pivotal at Allstate. This position focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of our sophisticated data infrastructure for human capital analytics, supporting strategic reporting, advanced analytics, and workforce planning across the enterprise.

This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, with a monthly connectivity reimbursement to support your home office setup including internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop key data strategies and warehouse solutions.
  • Execute ETL processes integrating diverse data sources such as APIs, databases, and flat files.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to map system contents and data relations.
  • Lead in the development of insightful analytical reports and support strategic data solution initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on data engineering principles to team members and partners.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of data platforms and pipelines, sharing knowledge and championing best practices.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise in database development, data management, and advanced analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and various data warehousing methodologies.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical challenges to a diverse range of stakeholders.

This role comes with a competitive salary ranging from $84,500 to $149,750 per year, based on experience and qualifications. At Allstate, we offer more than just a paycheck.
