Job Opportunity: Pricing Data Scientist

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Pricing Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial as part of our significant pricing transformation program within Rexel. It offers the chance to be a thought leader in a greenfield data science environment, focusing on deploying advanced statistical and machine learning models to drive substantial business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Science Architecture and Tools Development

• Create and implement a new Data Science architecture and toolkit.
• Design and establish a state-of-the-art Data Science environment, processes, and toolset.
• Gain a profound understanding of pricing datasets in our existing BI framework.

Data Analysis & Modeling

• Perform extensive data analysis and construct predictive models that aid in forecasting trends and optimizing processes.
• Develop various pricing models including Product x Segment Pricing Sensitivity, Target Margin Pricing, and Net Pricing Models utilizing external market data sources.
• Create Cost Intelligence Models to enhance financial forecasting.

Pricing Strategy Development and Implementation

• Utilize data analytics to devise and refine dynamic pricing strategies tailored for B2B customer segments.
• Continuously support, monitor, and assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies, modifying them based on new data and trends.

Stakeholder Communication

• Present complex pricing strategies and data-driven insights compellingly to internal stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through concise visualizations and presentations.

Who We Are Looking For:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, coupled with proven experience as a Data Scientist. You must bring solid expertise in data manipulation, visualization tools, and the latest Data Science technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
