Role Overview: Principal Machine Learning Engineer in OCI AI Services

This influential role is positioned within our OCI AI Services and Data organization, where you'll tackle exhilarating challenges at the nexus of artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. You will develop cutting-edge data processing models, train and manage AI solutions, and create tools that cater to an influential GPU super cluster for scalable and efficient AI model management.

As a vital part of our team, your work on LLM accelerators and machine learning training platforms will directly enhance our capabilities to run sophisticated AI models at scale.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 6+ years of proven experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML high-performance and low-latency products.
• Deep understanding of large-scale computing systems and experience maintaining high availability cloud services.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and their applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Computer Science, AI, or another technical field like Operations Research.
• Expertise in scalable cloud-native back-end service design.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams and handling compliance within healthcare data frameworks.

• Design and develop Oracle's next-gen OCI native services from the ground up.
• Champion a continuous "Always On" service operation culture within the team.
• Present strategic and operational updates to senior management.
• Strategically manage and mentor a fast-growing global engineering team.
