In this role, you will work directly with the product managers and executives of our client companies based in San Francisco, Bay area. We are seeking someone who enjoys problem-solving, is well-versed with the internet/app business model, and is capable of thinking through product/feature/UX experience to suggest optimized data-driven solutions.
The analyst will collaborate closely with our CEO, Piyanka Jain, a well-known thought leader in data analytics. He/she will be mentored on BADIR, our in-house framework, which Fortune 100 companies are adopting for swift implementation of data analytics and data science projects.
Requirements:
Take an active role in working with client's product, operations, and analytics teams to address issues related to the product, user experience, and features.
Utilize data to understand the business and its product usage, and develop knowledge that can be applied to the product and business strategy.
Collaborate with executives, product managers, engineers, marketers, and designers to convert data insights into smarter decisions and applications.
Define and oversee KPIs to measure the health of the business, product performance, and quality of customer experience.
Create dashboards and reporting processes to track business and product trends.
Create frameworks, tools, and best practices for applying data insights to business questions.
Carry out analyses and build models that identify opportunities and stimulate growth.
Design and analyze experiments, share results, and influence decisions.
Required Qualification:
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills and a keen ability to partner cross-functionally to build the business.
Strong Decision Science skills, and can not merely listen but also contribute thoughts on business and help leadership in decision-making
At least 3 years of experience as an analyst.
At least 3 years of experience in writing well-structured and effective SQL queries to solve real business problems.
Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, applied math, operations research, engineering, finance, or business intelligence.
Please note, this role requires mandatory overlap hours with clients in the US from 8 am - 1 pm PST.
