Job Description
As a Product Data Scientist, you'll play a crucial role in a cross-functional team comprising product managers, designers, software and analytics engineers. You'll bring your expertise to drive our product strategies. You'll help define success metrics, team up with engineers on data collection, design and build reports/dashboards, and find opportunities for product improvement. You'll be a co-owner of a product, steering its success along with other team members.
You'll also be a member of the wider data function, including Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Product Managers. As a new yet prominent function within Checkout.com, this is a thrilling opportunity to make an impact.
Your duties will include being accountable for a product domain and its metrics, contributing to product roadmaps, supporting product discovery, research, and experimentation, collaboratively working with Data Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers, nurturing a data culture, building experiment and analysis frameworks, and practicing best analytics practices.
Qualifications
We are seeking a strong communicator who can explain complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues. You should have experience in conducting experiments, building measurement frameworks, and extracting data-informed solutions from ambiguous problems. You need excellent skills in SQL and a comprehensive knowledge of applied statistics.
