Job Title: Project Manager - Cloud, AI / ML

Your Role

  • Champion the market introduction of innovative Gen-AI solutions in software requirements management, software engineering, and testing, aiding Aptiv in developing autonomous driving technologies for leading car manufacturers.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all programs/projects through functionally integrated teams with a focus on cost, quality, delivery, and methodology.
  • Set team priorities, manage and communicate project risks, and resolve project issues.
  • Coordinate global tasks to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Drive timely and effective delivery of complex IT service projects, handling intricate infrastructure and performance challenges.
  • Coordinate interdependent tasks across multiple global regions and external vendors.
  • Document and communicate team activities.
  • Relay customer requirements for key deliverables and performance targets to project teams.
  • Provide project details to senior leadership for reviews.
  • Maintain project plans, design changes, process changes, and cost trackers and summaries.
  • Monitor and track team and project performance KPIs.
  • Prepare financial reports for senior leadership.

Your Background

  • Degree in Information Technology or a related field, preferably with additional business administration qualifications.
  • 8 years of experience in technical project or program management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in technical project or program management in one of the following domains: Machine Learning, ML Ops, AI or Data Science, DevOps, CICD or Software Engineering.
  • Certification in at least one recognized project/program management standard (e.g., PRINCE, PMI).
  • Excellent understanding of hosting resilient and secure cloud services, particularly AWS and/or Azure.

Nice to Have

  • Highly disciplined, focused, and able to work on initiative to deliver global projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience leading a technical project team from estimation to service delivery rollout.
  • Experience in large-scale data migrations and application re-platforming for resilient solutions.
  • Experience managing and reporting on Agile or Lean IT projects.
  • Proficiency in preparing for design and gate reviews.
  • Expertise in risk analysis and developing risk management plans.
  • Production Readiness issues/preparation experience.
  • Experience with changes in requirements, scheduling, and resource issues.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Delivery Principles, especially ITIL3, 4, or Lean ITIL.
  • Documented leadership and team-oriented work experience.
