Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager for Data Integration, Analytics, and Data Lake, you will be responsible for:

• Executing data integration projects based on a defined process
• Developing, refining, and testing ETL/ELT processes
• Acquiring, modeling, and creating new data sources
• Planning work schedules, estimating tasks, prioritizing and planning work packages
• Gathering requirements, conceptualizing solutions, and ensuring quality
• Maintaining data quality, performance, and stability as a Product Owner
• Establishing and operating Data Lakes
• Providing second-level support for errors/problems in ETL/ELT processes
• Documenting jobs and data sources
• Supporting departments in implementing use cases in Analytics/Data Science

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed studies in Tourism, Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable education with a strong BI affinity
• Excellent knowledge of common ETL/ELT tools, preferably SAS
• Strong SQL and database skills
• Profound understanding of Data Lake architectures
• Familiarity with traditional and agile project management methodologies, especially the Product Owner role
• Experience in requirements management
• Basic statistics knowledge, with Analytics/Data Science expertise preferred
• Structured, solution-oriented thinking and acting
• Conceptual and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in text formulation and preparing documents/presentations
• Confident demeanor towards business partners and colleagues
• Good command of English
• Ideally, knowledge of the German and European tour operator market
