Position Overview

Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd. is seeking a Research Engineer with a specialization in LLM Formal Methods for an immediate opening. This role involves a one-year contract dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art technologies in neural symbolic architectures by integrating LLM/AI and formal methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research and develop technologies to enhance the synthesis process of neural symbolic architectures.
• Integrate LLM/AI and Formal methods to guide the development process.
• Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, such as white box and black box testing, to evaluate and improve AI systems.
• Analyze AI system performance through coverage and activation patterns.
• Develop formal modeling, analysis, and verification techniques for the integration of symbolic reasoning in neural networks.
• Ensure accurate interpretation and generation of AI system outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of researchers and engineers to incorporate advanced technologies into practical AI development.
• Publish research findings in relevant conferences and journals.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Formal Methods, Software Engineering, LLM/AI, or a closely related field.
• Proven track record in research and development in relevant fields.
