The complexity and scale of automotive systems are increasing. In our research projects, we're investigating future Electrical and Electronic Architectures (EE-A) of software-defined vehicles, covering next-generation control units (ECUs) like High-Performance Computers (HPCs) and Zone Controller (ZC) as well as future-proof software Architectures. Our team is working in an intercultural, cross-domain environment and linking the research results to mass production.

As a Research Engineer for software-defined vehicles and EE-Architectures, you will work in an international Systems Engineering R&D team. You will be involved in analysing OEM requirements, researching European trends and developing demonstrators for our customers.

  • Proactively following the recent EU trends and technologies by visiting conferences and exchanging with experts;
  • Analyse customer requirements and inquiries;
  • Support internal research projects like Proof-of-Concept demonstrators;
  • Contribute to DENSO's future EE-A Platforms.

Qualifications

  • M.Sc degree in Information Technologies, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar studies;
  • Basic knowledge in software architectures (e.g., Autosar, SOA) and first experience with software integration tasks;
  • Certain experience in C/C++ or RUST is of advantage;
  • Fluent level of English is required. Basic level of German is highly welcome;
  • Team player with a good self-organization.
