What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop cutting-edge methods to address the limitations of current Static Analyzers in spotting Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs).
• Publish and share your original research findings in top academic venues.
• Release open-source high-quality code and ensure reproducibility in research.
• Engage in collaborations within your team and across different teams.
• Facilitate the transfer of technology to product groups and engage with external researchers.

What We Need to See:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid foundation in the theory and practice of large language models, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Keen interest and expertise in CVE detection, static code analysis, and software security issues.
• Proven programming prowess in C, C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience working with major machine learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Robust skills in data analysis, error analysis, and experimental evaluation.
• Exceptional track record of published research.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on research projects and excellent communication skills.

Location & Compensation:

Position based in the United States with a salary range of $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. Successful candidates may also be eligible for bonuses and equity. Oracle provides a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
