THE COMPANY
Our mission is to build the Covariant Brain, a universal AI that equips robots with the ability to perceive, understand, and act on their surroundings. Transitioning AI from research in the laboratory to the diverse and consistently changing real-world operations of our customers necessitates new concepts, strategies, and methods.
Achieving success in the real world calls for a team that resonates with that world: a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Our common ground: high expectations, a love for learning, empathy for others, and a team-first mentality.
THE ROLE
Covariant deployment engineers apply our robotic solutions in warehouses throughout the US and across the globe. They are the experts on our product specifications and master trouble-shooters. As we establish and validate new robotic deployments, they are the first ones on the console, ensuring that everything is properly set up, from hardware to networks to software. As soon as we start testing our robots, they take on the role of chief debuggers, modifying code and creating minor features to enhance our performance. They are also jacks-of-all-trades, not hesitant to adjust the robotic hardware when needed, and deeply conversant with how the hardware and software components of our product interconnect.
This role often requires a five-day presence on-site weekly at our robotic deployments located across Europe, mainly in Germany.
