Job Description
Your Role and Participation in The Team: In this role, you will be a highly driven Field Robotics Technician in Cumberland County PA, joining our team to support the deployment, maintenance, and tracking of our robotic solutions. As a Field Robotics Technician, you play an indispensable role in shaping the future of our warehouse automation solution delivery to clients, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure the smooth operation of our robotic system.
A Typical Day at Prime Robotics
- Provide support to team members and customers during project launch and after-sales stages
- Assist sales teams in offering on-site demonstrations to prospective customers
- Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to guarantee optimal performance
- Act as the central contact to resolve warehouse automation issues with the customers when they emerge
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to minimize customer downtime
- Record operational data and create reports to track performance
- Show flexibility in work hours to collaborate with colleagues in other time zones
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer requirements, product performance, and potential areas for enhancement
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, including electronics, motors, and cabling, ensuring optimal operation of the robot fleet
- Engage hands-on with electromechanical systems in a workshop environment, contributing to the efficient running of the robots
- Carry out robot inspections and perform preventative maintenance
- Showcase soldering expertise when necessary, maintaining and fixing electronic components
- Display a swift learning ability and an outstanding work ethic, adapting swiftly to emerging challenges
- Must show excellent attention to detail and meticulousness in all tasks
- Document all robot repairs and maintain spare parts inventory

- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrate soldering proficiency when required, maintaining and repairing electronic components
- Show a quick learning capacity and exceptional work ethic, adapting swiftly to shifting challenges
- Must possess top-notch attention to detail and meticulousness in all tasks
- Document all robot repairs and keep spare parts inventory
- Ability to troubleshoot and operate independently and as part of a team
- Good driving record and reliable transport to and from work locations
- Physical demands in this job- should be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel to client sites- mostly in Cumberland County, but occasionally across the state
Preferred qualifications:
- Linux skills
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) software is highly beneficial
- Experience in maintaining lithium batteries
- Basic networking knowledge
- Familiarity with databases and proficiency in writing mySQL queries

The Location: Cumberland County client sites
The Salary: $55,000-90,000
