Role Purpose

As a member of the Ansys Customer Excellence team, you will support our clients by solving real-world engineering challenges, integrating Ansys software into their workflows, and contributing to business growth. Use your advanced engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support, conduct professional services, and convert customer needs into exciting product features. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to expand your expertise and impact.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical activities throughout the sales lifecycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
• Leverage your expertise in Ansys products to understand customer needs and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with product development teams to translate customer requirements into new features and test new releases on industrial problems.
• Support Ansys marketing efforts and conduct advanced training sessions.
• Engage with partners to enhance their product knowledge and service capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• MS in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• BS+7 years or MS+3 years of experience in an engineering software environment.
• Proficiency in Ansys software or other CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Experience in enterprise system deployments and implementation services delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS+6 years or PhD+3 years of experience in an engineering software environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Additional coursework in Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in software presales and post-sales activities.
• Familiarity with C#, .Net, Python, JavaScript, React, database management, DevOps, and web server technologies.
• Proficiency in agile project management and software troubleshooting.
