Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key team member, you will:

• Design and develop scalable back-end systems for Aptiv AI Products.
• Collaborate with Front-end Developers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Scientists.
• Write and test product development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with team and stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with a globally distributed team.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices.
• Write and review technical documents.

Your Background

We are looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience as a Back-end Engineer focusing on Python.
• Experience with frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Proficiency with AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in software design and architecture.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience starting and delivering projects.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the product.
• Experience in writing unit tests.
• Familiarity with Git, build tools, and CI/CD workflows.
