Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Senior C++ Software Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision to enhance our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for rail projects. With the increasing shift towards autonomous railway systems, your role will be pivotal in developing cutting-edge technologies that will define future mobility.

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Implement and refine computer vision technologies for object detection, localization, and scene understanding specifically for the rail environment.
• Work alongside state-of-the-art reference sensors like RADAR and LiDAR to validate your solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to review requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Design, develop, and test software components ensuring excellent quality and performance.
• Contribute to our Agile team dynamics through continuous enhancement of products and methodologies.
• Play a crucial role in client projects and pilot concepts for forthcoming generations.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions with a strong grasp of C/C++.
• Concrete understanding or the ability to quickly learn computer vision techniques.
• Solid mathematical and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in embedded software architecture, design, and development.
• Exceptional self-organization skills to efficiently manage and prioritize tasks.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• An innovative spirit, excellent teamwork skills, and a keenness for continuous learning.

Nice to Have: Experience in C++ design, automotive projects, or ASIL development; readiness for international business trips.
