Essential Job Functions

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:

• Implement enterprise technologies to advance RRG’s data analytics strategy.
• Utilize enterprise metadata repositories to document data sources, easing data access and analysis.
• Evaluate data sources and recommend improvements to the Data Analytics Manager.
• Collaborate with Key Technology & Operations to identify efficient data harvesting methods for analysis.
• Understand audit team objectives to define impactful analytics that enhance audit efficiency.
• Act as an internal consultant, providing expertise on company systems and data.
• Support audit teams throughout data acquisition processes, meeting scoped analytics requirements.
• Integrate data analytics into risk reviews, scoring, indicators, annual planning, continuous monitoring, and continuous auditing.
• Develop standard toolkits for data mining and analytics using SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Create visualization and reporting solutions with Tableau.
• Promote data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy in data analytics and regulatory reporting.
• Enforce new data analytics standards and methodologies.
• Stay updated on best practices and trends in data analytics within large bank environments and regulatory expectations.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytics and reporting experience or prior audit/risk discipline work history.
• Proficiency with data harvesting and analytic tools (SAS Enterprise Guide, Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, SQL, Python, R, ACL, Excel/VBA, etc.).
• Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, IBM Cognos, Power BI, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage challenging client requests and foster collaborative relationships.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Excellent client service orientation and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a team.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, finance, mathematics, management information systems, accounting, or computer science.
• Educational background focused on business analytics, quantitative analysis, statistics, or finance/accounting.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CPA, CIA, CFE, SAS Certified Programmer, SAS Certified Advanced Programmer, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, or Google Cloud Certified.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a base salary between $60,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on experience. Compensation also includes eligibility for short-term and deferred incentives based on individual and company performance. Explore the benefits .
