Join Our Team: Senior Data Analyst Position

As a vital member of the Fanatics Authentic team, the Senior Data Analyst plays a crucial role in advancing our eCommerce operations. This position, reporting directly to the Director of Planning and Data Analytics, is centered on maintaining, analyzing, and distributing pivotal data to various cross-functional teams, facilitating strategic decisions through actionable insights.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the DOMO business intelligence tool.
  • Efficiently manage complex data sets, utilizing multiple upload methods including Workbench, CSV, FTP, and API connectors.
  • Execute data queries and manipulate sets using advanced SQL/Python skills and internal platform functionalities.
  • Design and maintain informative dashboards to aid all departments within the Fanatics Authentic organization.
  • Conduct continuous data integrity audits and develop data reporting SOPs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide ad-hoc analysis, identifying business drivers and trends to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Create sophisticated tools for Planning/Buying/OTB to support analytics for the Product and Sales teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and contribute ideas on future data management opportunities.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Management, Business, MIS, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications, notably Excel.
  • Experience handling large, complex data sets with SQL/Python. Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, or DOMO is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to meet high productivity standards and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
