Role Overview

RTX is seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to enhance our data-driven decisions that contribute to our success in the Aerospace & Defense industry. This hybrid role requires both on-site and remote contributions, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with advanced technologies and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Collect, analyze, and convert complex data sets into actionable insights and metrics.
• Apply statistical and analytical methods to identify trends and patterns aiding business decisions and operational improvements.
• Enhance company efficiency, understand customer needs, and boost profitability through detailed analysis.
• Develop tools and processes for monitoring data model performance and precision.
• Collaborate with global teams to identify operational performance indicators and craft scalable solutions.
• Work closely with Global Technology teams to ensure solutions meet current standards and industry best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and continuously enhance skills in data engineering.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates should have:

• A BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics with 9+ years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a robust track record in developing analytic solutions.
• Experience in predictive modeling and working with major Big Data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Spark.
• Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense processes, from design to manufacturing, to after-sales support.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
• Familiarity with gas turbine engine fundamentals and associated components.
• Knowledge in Data Governance, Architecture, and Platforms.
