National Grid, a leader in energy delivery, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Management Data Analysis in our Protection Controls & Telco Engineering division, located in Northboro, Massachusetts. This critical role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days in office weekly.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in providing technical data support to enhance our Protection, Control, Metering, and Telecom Engineering (PCMT) operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze, evaluate, and document Engineering data requests.
  • Collaborate with Engineers to manage project milestones and secure long-term digital storage of documents.
  • Develop and maintain essential asset databases like Aspen Line and base case models.
  • Support the development of Procedures and Standards to ensure compliance.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in critical initiatives and ad-hoc projects aligned with company objectives.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors.
  • Develop training programs for Engineering and field personnel.

Required Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in cross-organizational communication.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in engineering support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data analysis and integration tools like SharePoint and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with Aspen preferred.

Salary & Career Path:

Earn between $99,000 and $115,000 annually, with extensive opportunities for advancement across technical skills and experience levels.
