What we do:
Our Data Analysts are tasked with enhancing our overall business through statistical and analytics data – and sharing insights with the central platform and capability. Data Analysts collaborate on key strategic focus areas of our business with internal clients across all teams, including engineering, R&D, Strategy, People Operations, and senior executives. This role works intimately with management and aids in the creation of key record and analytic systems.
The occupier of this position will be expected to work on-site five days each week.
What you can do:
- Convert real-world, complicated data into helpful information that facilitates swift and effective data-based decision-making within the business
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to collect requirements and devise analytics solutions (like dashboards) that includes whiteboarding, wireframing, swift prototyping, and developing dashboards (for example, PowerBI)
- Generate and offer data/analytics support on critical use cases where data can uncover hidden insights (like battery testing, testing and validation, AI, forecast demand, people analytics, cybersecurity, records systems)
- Develop, manage, and enhance ontologies, visualizations, interactive tools, and dashboards to help technical and non-technical users make good use of data (bonus for the ability to manage pipelines)
- Recognize vital data sets through deep engagement with workflows and use cases
- Fuse analytics and related work (like data transformations) back into the data platform for use beyond a single use case
- Contribute to and enhance data pipelines and ontologies based on use case requirements
- Consistently sanitize and convert disparate data sets from use cases and integrate them back into the data lake
- Triage and tackle support requests (like workflow and product issues)
- Proactively enable a data-driven and innovative culture throughout the organization
- Convey insights in a manner that resonates with internal and external collaborators
- Guide analytics and data strategy throughout the organization including conducting training sessions and standard methods in our data systems
- Stay updated on new industry innovations and standards
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Data Analysis and throughout the organization, interacting with various teams daily
- May require up to 25% of domestic and international travel
- Other duties as assigned.
What you can contribute:
- B.S. in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Information Sciences is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience is required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in working with data tools across various use cases
- Proficiency with data dashboarding and business intelligence tools (like Power BI)
- The ability to develop simple and sophisticated ontologies
- The ability to write complex analytical SQL queries
- Imaginative and inquisitive problem solver, able to take an abstract and complex need and generate data / analytics solutions
- Familiarity with large data platforms and/or their components (like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure/GCP, Palantir Foundry) preferred

- Industry experience working with highly regulated data and export control, i.e., aerospace, automotive, healthcare, finance preferred
- Professional experience with Python/R/Matlab preferred
- Proficiency with data ingestion and processing frameworks, including Kafka and Spark preferred
- Favored if you have experience in a new business and identifying/delivering analytics solutions to use cases from scratch
- Experience with aerospace and/or autonomous vehicle use cases preferred
- Familiarity with JIRA and Atlassian tools preferred
- Proactive execution and follow up on communication
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and complete work within time constraints
- A self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
- Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
