Senior Data Engineer Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Dreamix, you'll play a critical role in architecting and operationalizing large-scale data and analytics solutions using cutting-edge cloud data warehousing technologies like Snowflake and Databricks. Your expertise will help shape our financial data handling frameworks, ensuring efficient and scalable data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data architectures on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse and Databricks platforms.
• Manage and resolve issues in data load processes and transformation operations.
• Develop and automate data pipelines in cloud-based environments, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to align with stringent requirements and standards.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and health of data systems in line with Operational Level Agreements.

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of significant experience in data engineering.
• Proven expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing principles.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and/or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue would be advantageous.
• Background in the financial or banking sectors is preferred.
