Job Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer at Komatsu, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining our cutting-edge data architecture. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into scalable and efficient data frameworks. Utilizing your expertise in data modeling, database design, and data management, you will drive the implementation of large Digital Transformation (DX) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs, ultimately enhancing data interaction and integration across systems.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Understand and define data requirements for business initiatives related to DX and ERP.
• Lead the design and implementation of effective data models and architectures.
• Establish data governance and ensure quality and consistency across data processes.
• Identify and integrate data sources to facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Optimize data exchange and integration through innovative infrastructure enhancements.
• Guide and support the development teams in API and data integration strategies.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Architecture with a focus on DX and ERP integrations.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and API design principles.
• Proficient in both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as big data technologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
