Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Data Engineer to join our RTX team in Bangalore. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both onsite and offsite, integrating global business solutions with cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient data pipelines to support data extraction and transformation across various sources.
• Optimize and maintain ELT processes, ensuring data quality and process efficiency.
• Implement data governance and master data management to uphold high data standards.
• Work closely with global technology teams and business stakeholders to drive projects and evolve our data engineering practices.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies in data engineering to continuously enhance your skills and our solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• B.E in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics with over 9 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 4+ years of experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, demonstrating strong abilities in data solutions development.
• Proficiency in data warehousing technologies like Databricks, AWS Redshift, and ETL tools such as Fivetran or AWS Glue.
• Extensive knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense from Design to Manufacturing to Support.
• A thorough understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals and their components.
• Expertise in Data Governance, Architecture, and Platforms.
• Adaptable learner with a strong inclination towards new technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in agile project environments.
