What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The perfect candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, great problem-solving skills, a natural ability for logical reasoning, and a passion for tackling challenges directly. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a critical role in building resilient, scalable data pipelines. What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop physical/logical data models.
- Build and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines.
- Use Python programming for data engineering tasks.
- Implement NLP algorithms and apply them effectively.
- Work with PySpark, Apache Spark, and AWS stack for data processing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
- Use Snowflake for constructing ELT pipelines and work with dbt.
- Constantly optimize and improve data engineering processes.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of total experience in data engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Team player with excellent communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with Snowflake for ELT pipelines and experience with dbt.
- Significant experience in designing and developing physical/logical data models.
