Two Six Technologies is looking to hire a Staff Data Scientist to our team. In this role, you will use your technical expertise to tackle some of the most challenging intelligence issues around data.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets.
- Make and communicate reasoned conclusions from data using elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and specific application knowledge.
- Using analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, or other appropriate scientific methods, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets considering their organization, cleanliness, structure, and inherent features and limitations.
- Translate practical needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and assist others in deriving appropriate conclusions from such data analysis.
- Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in a related field; or 2 years experience with Masters in a related field; or 5 years of relevant experience, and an Associates degree may be considered for individuals with extensive experience.
- Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science, or a related field of technical rigor.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time onsite in secure government workspaces.
- Note: A broader range of degrees will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university.
Clearance Requirements:
This position requires a TS/SCI with FS Poly.
