WHAT WE NEED: Fors Marsh is spearheading a federally funded initiative aimed at boosting awareness and uptake of seasonal flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccines among high-risk groups. We seek a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with a knack for audience segmentation and data analytics to enhance our campaign efforts through geospatial mapping and optimization. This role is pivotal in refining our campaign’s targeting strategies using advanced analytical techniques to pinpoint and monitor key demographics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source valuable data and streamline its collection.
  • Analyze extensive datasets from varied sources like government records and surveys, focusing on geographic data.
  • Draw insightful patterns and actionable outcomes from complex data sets.
  • Develop strategic solutions to overcome business hurdles.
  • Present analytical findings to stakeholders and recommend data-driven strategies for campaign enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize data analysis and its implications for campaign strategy.
  • Collaborate with campaign teams to address findings and propose necessary adjustments.
  • Communicate effectively across different levels of the organization and with external partners, adapting material as needed to suit technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify potential project obstacles and strategize timely resolutions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, segmentation, or strategic communications planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages like R, GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, Python, SQL, and database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Strong background in using various data science methodologies and database systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship and suitability for a low-level government security clearance as per federal contract requirements.

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced degrees in relevant fields.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in cloud computing services and audience segmentation software.
  • Familiarity with marketing metrics and government agency protocols.
