Oracle Digital Government group is actively seeking a Senior Data Scientist to enhance our initiatives in supporting national governments through their digital transformation processes. By integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies, our goal is to deliver scalable and impactful solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:

• Apply machine learning, data mining, and statistical techniques to craft scalable solutions addressing complex government challenges.
• Generate insights from diverse data sources, communicating findings effectively to both technical teams and senior leadership.
• Work in collaboration with engineering teams to develop essential data pipelines and tools, ensuring efficient model training, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize and automate processes to enhance team productivity and the broader deployment of data-driven insights across business operations.

Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in analytics and applying data science solutions to real-world problems. Experience in public sector or government roles is highly valued.
• Proficiency in data science programming languages such as R and Python, and experience with Oracle Database.
• Strong background in data manipulation, exploratory data analysis, and advanced statistical techniques.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models within production environments, ideally within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar platforms.
