The Role: The Senior Data Scientist will play a significant role in using data-driven insights to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that assist our hosts in effectively managing their rental properties, streamlining operations, optimizing pricing, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
-Establishing the strategy for creating or enhancing ML systems that enable short-term rental hosts to make informed decisions.
-Applying advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from complex and diverse datasets.
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of software tools.
-Developing predictive models, algorithms, and optimization techniques.
-Staying updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and software development.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
-At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, focusing on software development and advanced analytics.
-Experience in revenue management, price optimization, time-series, or forecasting is a strong advantage.
-Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python.
