Responsibilities

Data Modeling

Enhance decision-making capabilities in the commercial and supply chain domains. Elevate existing modeling methods and contribute to optimized decision models that account for uncertainty using probabilistic techniques. Lead high-value, large-scale data science projects and advance our statistical and machine learning tools.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with business subject matter experts to gain perspective. Develop proof of concept models using limited to very large and unstructured data sets. Communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders.

Data Analytics

Conduct cross-disciplinary research, offer recommendations for big data infrastructure, and provide thought leadership across the business domain. Leverage both internal resources and new data collection processes, including external sources.

Training and Mentoring

Responsible for end-user training of developed models or tools. Provide guidance and problem-solving assistance to team members while mentoring less-experienced individuals.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in applying data science within a consumer-centric organization or other relevant experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python/R or similar.
• Experience in data analysis, data manipulation, data mining, algorithm development, or machine learning/artificial intelligence.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
