Data is crucial at Wayflyer, and as a Senior Data Scientist focused on Finance, you will play a significant role in shaping our future. You will collaborate closely with our Finance team tackling some of our most challenging problems in quantitative risk, portfolio management, and optimized pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sophisticated statistical models to support risk-based decision making.
• Design experiments to refine the pricing strategies of our products.
• Leverage advanced machine learning techniques to analyze patterns across eCommerce, marketing, and financial data.
• Create and maintain automated reporting and data pipelines using SQL/Python and Tableau.
• Communicate insightful findings across the company, enhancing data-driven strategies.
• Mentor team members to expand the overall data expertise within Wayflyer.

What We’re Looking For:

You have a robust background in data science, with proven expertise in predictive modeling and machine learning. Your coding skills are top-notch, particularly in Python, and you possess a keen interest in startups and online businesses.

Your experience might span various industries, but familiarity with financial services or fintech is particularly appealing. An excellent applicant also exhibits strong leadership and prioritization skills, ensuring optimal impact without overextension.
